Attend this two day course and learn the skills required to support someone at work, at home or in the community who is experiencing a mental health crisis and help them access professional care. At the end of the course you have the option of becoming an Accredited Mental Health First Aider.

About the event
This training, presented by Workplace Wellness Collective and Music Beat Australia for AMTA Registered Music Therapists, will be delivered onsite at Music Beat's brand new clinic in Clayfield, Brisbane on Saturday and Sunday March 18 & 19, 2023.
Training will commence at 9am and end at 5pm each day. The course consists of 12 hours of content, and as such, participants may apply for 12 CPD points from the Australian Music Therapy Association to count towards their annual CPD requirement.
Morning and afternoon tea will be provided each day, and lunch will be self-catered at one of the many surrounding eateries.
The cost of the training is $260 and includes a copy of the MHFA Australia training manual.
The venue is a 4 minute walk from Clayfield train station, and limited on-street parking is available in the surrounding area, please double check parking signs and limits to confirm suitability.
